Focaccia Farinata, and why not, of good chocolate. From February 23rd to 25th Savona, in Corso Italia, Art & Ciocc, hosts the chocolatiers’ tour, sweet caravan dedicated to quality handmade chocolate, which since 2008 has touched over 40 city in Italy.
The event sees the artisans and producers of the best chocolate as protagonists, in all variations from various Italian regions.
Savona is a beautiful city rich in historical and artistic sites. Walking in the evocative alleyways of the historic center, one can admire many buildings of great artistic value, from the Pinacoteca to the churches with the Duomo and the “small” Sistine Chapel, the desired chapel from the Pope Savona Sisto IV. the austere palaces with slate portals and towers among which another symbol from Savona, the Brandale Tower (also called Campanassa), are also worth visiting. Do not miss the Priamar Fortress, one of the most impressive fortifications overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, home to museums and exhibition spaces and the “place of culture” par excellence where the main events take place in the summer, attracting the public from all over the Riviera.
